He was 49 years old. His sudden death has shocked many in the Tamil film business.According to a report by News 18, he was suffering from bone cancer and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai for the past few months. Despite medical efforts, he could not recover. His family informed that the last rites will take place tomorrow morning at his native Suganapuram in Coimbatore district.
