Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has officially announced the examination date for Senior Executive Trainee (SET) Recruitment Exam 2026. Candidates who have successfully completed the application process can now check and download the official notification of the exam schedule from the BSNL website.As per the notification issued by Telecom Public Sector Company, BSNL Senior Executive Trainee Exam 2026 will be conducted on 5th July 2026 (Sunday). The recruitment test will be conducted for candidates applying under Telecom and Finance Streams.BSNL said that the recruitment process is being conducted to fill up a total of 120 vacancies for the post of Senior Executive Trainee.Out of the total posts, 95 posts are reserved for Senior Executive Trainee Direct Recruitment Telecom stream, while 25 posts are for Senior Executive Trainee Direct Recruitment Finance stream.
The exam pattern consists of 200 questions with negative marking.
As per the official details released by BSNL, the exam paper will have 200 objective type questions. Each question will carry one mark.Candidates will be given a total time of three hours to complete the exam. BSNL has also confirmed that the exam will involve negative marking. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Anticipated admit card before exam
BSNL is expected to release the admit card four to five days before the exam date. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets by logging into the official portal using their registration credentials.The admit card will contain important details including exam centre, reporting time, shift timing and candidate information.
