Union Bank Apprentice Exam Date: Union Bank of India has announced the date of examination for the recruitment of Apprentices under the Apprentice Act 1961. Recruitment drive is being conducted for 1865 vacancies in branches and offices in different parts of the country. As per the official notification the online exam will be held on 07th June 2026.The application process for the recruitment started on 29th April 2026 and ended on 19th May 2026. The engagement will be for a one-year apprenticeship training programme. Candidates selected for the program will receive a monthly stipend between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000.Announcement of recruitment drive for graduate candidatesUnion Bank of India has invited applications from graduate candidates for the posts of Apprentice. The recruitment process is open to candidates from all over India. The bank has said that the applicants have to fulfill all the eligibility conditions mentioned in the notification before participating in the selection process.Minimum age for candidates is 20 years and maximum age limit is 28 years. Age calculation will be on 01 April 2026. Candidates applying for the posts should possess a Graduate Degree from a recognized institution.Selection process for inclusion of online testThe selection process for the recruitment of apprentices will consist of an online test followed by a local language proficiency test. Candidates who qualify the online test will be required to appear for a language test as part of the recruitment process.Apprentice recruitment has been announced for a total of 1865 posts. The Apprenticeship Program will provide training to the candidates in banking operations and related tasks for a period of one year.Application Fee and Recruitment DetailsUnion Bank of India had prescribed different application fees for different categories of candidates. General and OBC male candidates were required to pay Rs 944, while the fee for general and OBC female candidates was Rs 708.PwBD and transgender applicants along with candidates belonging to SC and ST categories were required to pay Rs 236 as application fee.Recruitment notification, exam schedule and more updates are available on the official website of Union Bank of India.
