Fifteen-year-old Vibhu Suryavanshi produced yet another jaw-dropping innings in the IPL 2026 Eliminator, this time equaling the most famous playoff record in the history of the tournament. Suresh Raina. playing for Rajasthan Royals Against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Milanpur, the teenage sensation scored a breathtaking half-century in just 16 balls, equaling Raina’s legendary record for the fastest fifty in IPL knockout history. Raina’s unforgettable innings came back in Qualifier 2 of IPL 2014, when he scored 87 off just 25 balls for Chennai Super Kings against Punjab Kings at the Wankhede Stadium. That innings has long been regarded as one of the greatest playoff knocks in IPL history, and now Suryavanshi has entered that conversation at just 15 years of age.
