Another paper leak scare: APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University cancels B.Tech exam at Noida Center

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has canceled the B.Tech examination held at a center in Noida after allegations of question paper leak surfaced. The paper was held on 21 May.The university said the decision was taken to protect the integrity of the examination process. The students of the affected centers will now have to appear for the re-examination on June 5 with a new question paper.Currently, only the candidates appearing for the above mentioned B.Tech Computer Science 6th Sem Exam for Computer Networks subject at Noida Institute have been confirmed to be affected. There is no official information about any impact on students from other centers or other exams. However, the university has advised students to keep checking for official updates regularly.The exam was canceled after concerns were raised that some candidates were unfairly advantaged due to the alleged leak. The university has started an inquiry and is liaising with the examination center authorities. The investigation includes examination of CCTV footage, review of surveillance records and verification of the process of distribution of question papers.The revised exam center details and updated admit cards will be announced through an official notification.The university said that the results of the respective course and semester may be delayed till the re-examination process and evaluation is completed.Students should keep all documents related to the examination including admit cards, entry slips and stamped receipts.
