The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has released the result of the Practical Technical Efficiency Test (PET) conducted for the recruitment of the posts of Head Constable in the Motor Transport Branch. Recruitment campaign is being conducted for 176 vacant posts in the department.This notification was issued by the board on 26 May 2026 from Lucknow. The recruitment process is being conducted under the provisions of Uttar Pradesh Police Motor Transport Subordinate Officer Service Rules, 2015.According to the notice, the first phase written exam was held on 5th October 2025. A total of 3,950 candidates participated in the recruitment process. Of these, 2,781 candidates scored 35 or more marks and qualified for the next round.These shortlisted candidates were called for the Practical Technical Aptitude Test, which was conducted between 28 April to 11 May 2026 at four examination centers in Lucknow and Sitapur districts.
2,542 candidates were found eligible for the next stage.
The board said that 2,542 candidates have qualified in the practical test round. Candidates who score 25 or more marks in the exam have qualified for the next stage of the recruitment process.The result has been uploaded on the official website of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. Candidates can check their status by entering their registration number and date of birth.The result is displayed in three categories:
- Qualified in practical technical efficiency test
- Not eligible for practical technical performance test.
- Absent in practical technical performance test
