Directed by RJ Balaji, the mass mythological drama collected Rs 4.45 crore in its second Tuesday in India. According to Sacnilk, the 12th day figure represents a 24.6% drop from the Rs 5.90 crore earned on Monday. The film was screened in 4,470 shows on Tuesday.

‘Karuppu’ has crossed another major milestone at the global box office. Collecting 4.45 crore nett in India on day 12 and adding 1 crore from overseas markets, the film’s worldwide total has risen to 253.26 crore.The film’s overseas gross collection now stands at 69 crores. Meanwhile, the gross collection in India has reached 184.26 crores. The net collection in India is currently 159.20 crores.
The Tamil version remains the driving force behind the Suriya film
The Tamil version once again led the film’s run on the 12th day. It contributed 3.65 million euros in 3,073 sessions, while recording 25 percent occupancy.The Telugu version added 80 lakhs net from 1,397 shows and registered 18 percent occupancy.The film’s net collection in India stands at Rs 159.20 crore, mainly due to its exceptional performance in Tamil Nadu. However, the contributions of neighboring states and overseas territories have also played an important role in taking the film beyond 250 million euros worldwide.Tamil Nadu was the biggest contributor to ‘Karuppu’s 12-day earnings. The state generated a gross of 3.70 crores.According to the gross state collection report, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana contributed Rs 80 lakh. Karnataka added Rs 30 lakh and Kerala added Rs 21 lakh. Rest of India generated 8 lakhs, taking the total 12th day gross to 5.09 crores.
