National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application correction window for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026 examination. Candidates who want to make changes in their application form can now visit the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in and edit their details online.As per the official schedule, the correction window will remain open till May 28, 2026, at 11:50 PM.UGC NET June 2026 is being conducted for eligibility under three categories – award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and appointment as Assistant Professor, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD programs, and admission to PhD programs in universities and colleges across India only.

UGC NET June 2026 Exam Dates
The National Testing Agency will release the City Intimation Slip of UGC NET 2026 Exam on 10 June 2026.The admit cards of the exam are going to be released on 15 June 2026. UGC NET June 2026 exam will be conducted between 22 June to 30 June 2026.
UGC NET June 2026 Exam Pattern
The exam will consist of two papers with multiple choice objective type questions. Both the papers will be conducted together in one session without any break.The total duration of the exam will be three hours.Apart from the language papers, the question paper will be available only in Hindi and English.Paper I will have 50 questions of 100 marks, while Paper II will have 100 questions of 200 marks. The total marks of the exam will be 300.
UGC NET June 2026 Marking Scheme
As per the official marking scheme, candidates will get two marks for each correct answer.There will be no negative marking for wrong or unanswered questions.
