Pune: The CEO Academy of Industrial Leadership was inaugurated at Koh Noor World Tower in Pimpri Chinchwad.“The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) plays a vital role in taking an industrial company to greater heights. “Just as soldiers fight every crisis to protect the country, a CEO faces every challenge in the industry,” the general said. There is a growing need to develop leaders with decision-making skills, business leadership skills, strategic thinking, innovation, technical understanding, and execution skills. CEO Academy is designed to meet these evolving needs, the founders said.To bridge the growing gap between traditional learning and the practical skills of industry leadership, the Academy has developed a highly practical, experiential, and outcome-based learning methodology. The focus will be on imparting not only theoretical knowledge but also industry experience, business decision-making skills, leadership preparation, and entrepreneurial mindset.Dr. Kuldeep Charak and Dr. Hemant Jadhav, founders of the academy, outlined the mission of the institution during the inauguration. “CEO Academy’s core mission is to nurture future CEOs, startup founders, industry leaders, and global entrepreneurs by creating the most effective ecosystem of industry-connected, experiential, and transformational leadership education in India,” he said.Compared to traditional courses, the entire model of CEO Academy is based on the concept of “Industry Ready Leadership Development”. Special emphasis will be placed on developing leadership qualities, implementation skills, business acumen, financial understanding, team management skills and global business perspective in students.The Academy will conduct regular leadership programs Monday through Friday for fresh graduates, students starting their careers, and aspiring industry leaders. In addition, special weekend programs will be available for working professionals, entrepreneurs, startup founders, and family business management successors.Industry experts, entrepreneurs, academics, and dignitaries from the startup ecosystem present at the inaugural event lauded the initiative of CEO Academy and opined that such institutes are necessary today to make India more implementation-oriented, leadership-ready, and enterprise-oriented.The program was moderated by Dr. Fatima Tonwala, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Smita Jadhav, Director, CEO Academy.
