News18 reported that Ashoke Pandit reacted to the ongoing feud between Ranveer Singh and Excel Entertainment, the banner headed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The issue revolves around Ranveer’s reported exit from ‘Don 3’, a film that has already faced delays and attracted public attention for its high-profile casting. It was earlier reported that FWICE Chairman BN Tiwari, Principal Adviser Ashoke Pandit, Honorary Principal Secretary Ashok Dubey and Treasurer Gangeshwarlal Shrivastav will attend a crucial meeting. A press conference was also expected after the meeting, to announce the federation’s decision.Pandit told Bombay Times, “It is a very serious matter, and this trend is very wrong. You cannot withdraw from a project 10 days before the start of shooting. We are having an internal meeting first, and then we are taking a call.”

Asked which way the decision might go, Pandit said, “Now we will do something that is justified. We will not allow the industry to be doomed here. Tomorrow, anyone can walk out of the film. Whatever we do, we will do it in the interest of the industry.”The dispute had earlier reached the Producers Guild of India, where major producers had tried to mediate. According to reports, Excel Entertainment said that the team spent heavily on pre-production and locked down key plans before Ranveer’s exit. Other reports said talks on the settlement had not reached a final decision.Farhan also addressed the issue in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India. He said: “A lot has happened in the last two years. You learn to expect the unexpected. You can’t take anything for granted until it’s in the cinema.”‘Don 3’ continues to be one of the most watched films in Bollywood. The franchise has previously starred Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.
