UGC NET June 2026: National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the application correction window for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026 examination will open tomorrow on 26th May 2026. Candidates who have already submitted their application form will be able to edit the details through the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.According to the official notification issued on May 23, the correction facility will be available till May 28, 2026, till 11:50 pm.The NTA had also extended the last date for submitting the online application form after receiving requests from candidates seeking more time to apply for the UGC NET June 2026 exam.

As per the revised dates announced by NTA:
- Last date for submission of online application form was 24th May 2026 till 11:50 PM.
- Last date for payment of examination fee was 24th May 2026 till 11:50 PM.
- The application correction window will be open from 26th May to 28th May 2026 till 11:50 PM.
UGC NET June 2026 Exam is being conducted for:
- Award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
- Appointment as Assistant Professor
- Admission to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs
- PhD admissions only in Indian universities and colleges
