UP Madrasa Board Results 2026: Girls outperform boys as overall pass percentage reaches 88.26%
The Uttar Pradesh Madrasa Education Board declared the Munshi/Mulvi and Aleem exam results 2026, recording an overall pass percentage of 88.26%. Girls outperformed boys in both secondary and senior secondary categories. The exams were held under CCTV surveillance, as the state government emphasized transparency and efforts to modernize madrassa education across Uttar Pradesh.

The Uttar Pradesh Madrasa Education Board has declared the result of Munshi/Mulvi (Secondary) and Aleem (Senior Secondary) Examinations 2026. With an overall pass percentage of 88.26 percent, girls outperformed boys in both categories.According to official data, out of 80,933 registered candidates, 55,788 students cleared the exam. The results showed great performance of students across the state. A total of 29,229 girls passed the exams, with a percentage of 94.30%. In comparison, 26,559 boys qualified, with a pass rate of 85.13%.The data highlighted the clear superiority of girls in both the secondary and senior secondary examinations conducted by the madrassa board.

Great results in Munshi/Maulvi exam

62,232 students had registered for Munshi/Mulvi (Secondary) examination out of which 47,036 appeared. Out of the candidates who appeared for the examination, 41,426 students passed, with an overall pass percentage of 88.07 percent.Girls once again outperformed boys. A total of 21,407 girls cleared the exam with a pass percentage of 91.46. During this period, 20,019 boys passed, with a success rate of 84.72%.

Alim’s exam pass ratio is also high.

Great results were also recorded in the Alim (Senior Secondary) examination this year. Out of 18,701 registered students, 16,175 appeared for the examination. Of these, 14,362 students successfully cleared the exam, resulting in a pass percentage of 88.79%.In this category too, girls maintained their superiority. 7,822 girls passed with 90.88% pass percentage while 6,540 boys secured 86.42% pass percentage.

The exams were conducted under CCTV surveillance.

Madrasa Board examinations were conducted under CCTV surveillance in all the centers of the state. Officials said the examination process was monitored directly from the Madrasah Board headquarters to ensure transparency and prevent unfair practices.The Uttar Pradesh government said the arrangement reflects its focus on improving the quality and credibility of madrassa education.
