That producer was created Vashu Bhagnani‘s Pooja Entertainment took Tips Music to court alleging that the music label recreated the iconic song ‘Chunari Chunari’ for ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ without seeking permission. The song was originally featured in the film ‘Biwi No.1’ produced by Pooja Entertainment, and is a matter of their hearts.

Tips Music and Vashu Bhagnani have clashed over the music rights of ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’

Tips Music posted on Instagram saying they are the “legal owner” of the music rights, but Vashu Bhagnani disagreed. His legal spokesperson spoke to Hindustan Times and said, “The entire music rights, songs and films referred to in the plaintiff’s suit are covered under the ‘status quo’ order. Therefore, at this stage, it is not in question whether they are the rightful owners or whether their agreements are valid and subsisting.” Today everything is subject to the situation ordered by the Honorable Court. Definitely all the actors, the director David Dhawanproducers, technicians and all the other people involved in the matter must appear before the Court and submit an answer; otherwise, they may face contempt of court proceedings.’
