The RCMP referred the case to Canada’s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT). The investigation is ongoing to uncover the facts and examine the evidence, authorities said.Interviews are being conducted and surveillance footage is being reviewed to connect the dots on the timeline of McLean’s remains before May 15. “We are pursuing every avenue available in our efforts to find answers for Mr. McLean’s family, friends and loved ones,” authorities said, according to the outlet.
