In 2023, Jahnavi graduated from Columbia University and also earned a spot on the institution’s prestigious Dean’s List.At the time, Juhi posted a picture from Jahnavi’s graduation ceremony and simply wrote, “Proud and happy.”In an interaction with News18, Juhi spoke about Jahnavi’s impressive academic performance and deep interest in cricket.“One should not praise one’s child, but he is an excellent child and boasts of a commendable academic record. He also excelled in his International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exams and topped Indian History. In IB, he topped his school. At Columbia University, it’s on the Dean’s List,” Juhi said.Talking about her daughter’s love for cricket, Juhi added, “She loves cricket so much! She lights up when she talks about cricket – the players and the heart of the sport. Sometimes I wonder where all this knowledge comes from! I find it so amazing. This is what he chose, so I can’t take credit for it. Everything comes to him organically.”Juhi had also earlier confessed that she felt relieved that Jahnavi did not choose acting as a career.“I see a lot of star kids trying to make it big in Bollywood. They’re trying to be on screen as actors and I feel like they’re under a lot of pressure. You don’t know if your next role, if you get it, is going to be successful. And then there’s the scrutiny on social media. It’s all a lot to deal with,” he added.
