The result of Kerala Plus 2 which was supposed to be released tomorrow on 22nd May 2026 may not be declared on that date. Earlier reports indicated that the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) will announce the results of the Class 12 board exams on May 22. The latest updates from various media reports suggest otherwise. The announcement is expected on May 26 at 3 pm. The uncertainty over the revised schedule comes days after the Kerala government successfully announced the SSLC results 2026 on May 15. Earlier this month, Kerala General Education Minister V Sivankutty had announced that SSLC results would be released on May 15, while Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) results were expected on May 2.According to sources familiar with the development, glitches in the marks entry software slowed down the tabulation and verification process, forcing officials to postpone the final publication of scores. The IT team handling the exam database is reportedly working to resolve the issue and ensure error-free declaration before enabling the result links online. The delay has added to the uncertainty among students and parents across the state, especially with the undergraduate admission procedure and admission counseling activities expected to begin soon after the announcement of the board results. This year, around 4.5 lakh students appeared for the Kerala Plus Two exams, while around 4.17 lakh students appeared for the SSLC exams, according to data shared earlier by the education department. The Plus Two exams were conducted for Science, Commerce, Humanities and VHSE students.Along with Class 12 results, Plus One Improvement exam results are also expected to be declared on the same day. The revised marks obtained by the students in the improvement slips are likely to be automatically reflected in their updated academic records.
