Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the provisional answer key of Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2026. Candidates appearing for the State Level Teacher Eligibility Test can now access the answer key and download their individual OMR response sheet through the official website of PSTET.The answer key enables the candidates to check their answers and estimate their possible scores before the official result is declared. The board has also opened an objection window for candidates who wish to challenge any discrepancy in the provisional answers.

PSTET Answer Key and OMR Sheets are now available.

The PSTET 2026 exam was conducted on 15th March 2026 for the candidates seeking qualification to teach at primary and upper primary level in government and aided schools of Punjab. After the completion of the examination, PSEB has released the provisional answer keys for both Paper 1 and Paper 2, along with the OMR sheets of the candidates.Candidates can login to the official website using their credentials to check the answer key according to their question booklet series. By comparing their marked answers with the official solution, candidates can calculate their probable score before the final result is declared.The board has clarified that the answer key released at this stage is provisional, meaning it can be revised after considering the objections of the candidates.

The objection window is open till March 21.

PSEB has provided an opportunity to the candidates to object to any answer which they feel is incorrect. The objection window will be open from March 17 to March 21, 2026.To submit a challenge, candidates must log into the official PSTET portal and upload supporting documents or references to justify their claim. Each objection must be supported by credible evidence such as standard textbooks or authoritative educational sources.After the objection window closes, the Board will review all the challenges presented by the candidates. If any discrepancy is found correct, the provisional answers will be revised before the final answer key is published.

Two papers for different teaching levels.

The PSTET exam is conducted in two separate papers to assess candidates’ aptitude for teaching at different school levels.Paper 1 is designed for candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5, while paper 2 is for those who want to teach classes 6 to 8. Candidates wishing to qualify both the levels must appear for both the papers.The exam evaluates candidates in areas such as child development and pedagogy, language skills, subject knowledge, and teaching ability.

The result of PSTET is expected after the final answer key.

After the evaluation of objections is completed, PSEB will release the final answer key, which will be used to prepare the PSTET 2026 result. The results are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.Candidates are advised to visit PSTET official website regularly for updates regarding final answer key and result declaration. PSTET certificate is a mandatory qualification for candidates seeking teaching posts in government and government-aided schools across Punjab.
