CHSE Odisha Plus 2 Result 2026: The Council of Higher Secondary Education Odisha has officially declared the Odisha Plus 2 Result 2026 today on 20th May 2026. The results were announced between 12:30 PM and 1 PM, as confirmed earlier by School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond. This year, the board released results for all streams simultaneously, marking a change from previous years when Science and Commerce results were announced before Arts.More than 4.1 lakh students appeared in Annual Higher Secondary Examination (AHSE) 2026 conducted by CHSE Odisha. The exams were conducted from February 18 to March 25 across the state in offline mode.
CHSE Odisha Plus 2 Results: Vital Statistics
The Council of Higher Secondary Education has declared the Class 12 results for all major streams, with science recording the highest overall pass percentage at 88.82 per cent. Girls outperformed boys in all respects. In science, girls secured a pass rate of 90.24% while boys’ pass rate was 87.41%. More than 5,100 students secured more than 90% marks. Balasore emerged as the best performing district in science with 96.63 percent pass, while Korapat recorded the lowest at 77.14 percent. The overall pass percentage in commerce was 88.07 percent, while in arts it was 84.50 percent. Girls continued their strong performance in both the streams securing 90.43 per cent in Commerce and 89.45 per cent in Arts. Bodh district secured a perfect 100 per cent result in commerce, while Sambalpur topped the arts stream with 89.48 per cent. The board confirmed that no results were withheld in any stream this year, marking the smooth and successful declaration of CHSE Odisha Plus Two Results 2026.

Odisha Class 12th Result 2026: Minimum Passing No
To pass the exam, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject. Candidates who do not meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear in the supplementary examinations which are expected in June.The board has also said that the original mark sheets and certificates will be distributed later by the respective schools.Last year, the Odisha board recorded a strong pass percentage in streams. There was an increase of 87.50% in Science, 83.20% in Commerce, 80.51% in Arts and 60.57% in Vocational Education.
