The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has postponed the Telangana Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG PGECET) 2026 examination scheduled on 28 May 2026. This decision was made due to the Eid holiday. According to the official announcement, the exam will now be held on June 1, 2026.The council clarified that only the exam date has been changed. There will be no change in the shift timings or the overall examination schedule for the rest of the days. Candidates who were scheduled to appear for the exam on May 28 are advised to note the revised date and prepare accordingly.
TG PGECET 2026 Revised Exam Date Announcement
According to the revised schedule released by TGCHE, the TG PGECET 2026 exam which was earlier planned on May 28 will now be held on June 1.Officials also said that all other exams will continue as per the previously announced timetable without any modification.
TG PGECET 2026 exam shift timings have not been changed.
The council confirmed that the examination will continue to be conducted in two separate shifts. The morning shift will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the afternoon shift will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.Students are informed that despite the postponement of the examination date, there will be no change in these timings.

Candidates appearing for TG PGECET 2026 are advised to regularly check the official announcements regarding the entrance exam.
