In 2017, he bought an apartment for Rs 13 crore in J and K co-operative Housing Society in Versova, Mumbai, where he lived with his family before moving to his own bungalow. The house took three years to design and renovate, and is said to have been inspired by his hometown Budhana’s old house. Spacious, with white walls and a large terrace perfect for watching sunsets, the bungalow is as big as a trip. He named him ‘Nawab’ in memory of his late father, Nawabuddin Siddiqui. Speaking in an old interview with ETimes, Nawazuddin looked back at how far he has come and thanked his fans for all their love and support. He also made a powerful comparison between his past and present, saying, “Aaj jitna bada mera personal bathroom hai, utnasa mera ghar hua karta tha. Aise lagna chahiye ke yeh ek artiste ka ghar hai.”
