The debate over the phrase ‘Once a cheat, always a cheat’ continues to create divided opinions, especially Kajol and Twinkle Khanna discussed infidelity with Kajol and Twinkle in Two Much’s chat session. Now, the ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ actor has weighed in on the same issue, with Sarah Ali Khan making his opinion crystal clear. In a recent interview, Sara staunchly backed ‘Once a cheat, always a cheat’, while her co-star Ayushmann Khurrana argued that people are capable of change. Sharing his insight, Ayushmann said in this interview with Red FM, “There is a journey from being a red flag to a green flag. Nobody is born a green flag.” Sara, however, stood by her point of view and replied, “I believe in once a cheater, always a cheater. Because he cheated right? What is the definition of a cheater? If a person has cheated, he’s a cheat.”Rakul Preet Singh echoed Ayushmann’s sentiments and suggested that a person who has cheated once does not necessarily repeat the behavior. But Sara said the label attached to such actions doesn’t go away easily.“You’ve been labeled a cheater and that can’t be changed. If he’s a cheater, chances are he’ll cheat again, but he might not. Once you’ve cheated, you’ve lost the privilege of saying he’s over me, I’ll never do it again. You’re a cheater, but he might not cheat again. That,” he explained. He also clarified his stance: “I’m not saying he’s going to cheat again, but once you get that label, you can’t get rid of it.”Ayushmann later lightened the mood with a playful remark that seemed to refer to Sara’s history of relationships. “He doesn’t let go. Sara, let go, forget, forgive. If he loves her again, he might not cheat,” she joked.Over the years, Sara has been linked many times with industry players. Kartik was earlier rumored to be dating Aaryan’s Love Aaj Kal co-star. Recently, she made headlines after she was seen visiting a gurudwara with actor-musician Arjun Pratap Bajwa, fueling fresh speculations about her personal life.Meanwhile, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, also starring Wamiqa Gabbihit theaters on May 15 to mixed reviews. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2019 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh, which starred Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar.
