TN SSLC Result 2026: Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) is likely to declare Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2026 on 20th May. Once released, students appearing for the Class 10 board exams will be able to check and download their provisional marksheet through the official website, tnresults.nic.in.Students are advised to keep their registration number and date of birth ready to access the results online. The provisional mark sheet will contain subject-wise marks, total score, pass status, and other important details of the exam. Although the board is yet to officially confirm the result announcement time, reports suggest that the result may be announced around 9:30 am.Tamil Nadu Board Class 10 exams were conducted from 11th March to 6th April 2026 in offline mode at various examination centers of the state. The exams were held in a single shift from 10 am to 1 pm. Students were given an extra 15 minutes before the start of the exam to read the question paper and plan their answers.
How to Download TN SSLC Result 2026
Students can follow these steps to check and download their Tamil Nadu Class 10 results after they are released:
- Visit the official website, which is tnresults.nic.in.
- Click on the “SSLC Exam Result 2026” link available on the home page.
- Enter registration number and date of birth in the required fields.
- Click the submit button.
- TN SSLC Result 2026 will appear on the screen.
- Download and save the provisional mark sheet for future reference.
Last year, the Tamil Nadu Board declared the SSLC results on May 16, recording an overall pass percentage of 93.80 percent. A total of 9,13,036 students appeared for the exam in 2025. Girls outperformed boys with 95.88% pass percentage, while boys recorded 91.74%.The overall pass percentage in 2024 was 91.55%. Around 8,94,264 students appeared for the exam out of which 8,18,743 students qualified successfully.After the declaration of results, students will also be able to check updates regarding revaluation, supplementary exams, and distribution of original mark sheets through the official TNDGE portals.
