Known for his journey from radio to acting, RJ Mahvash is now gearing up for the release of his latest project ‘Satrangi: Badle ka Khel’. The series, which also stars Anshuman Pushkar and Kumud Mishra, will begin airing on OTT from 22 May 2026. In a recent interaction, Mahvash reflected on his close friendship with Samay Raina and various creators, adding that he will continue to support and support them.
RJ Mahvash reacts to the Samay Raina controversy
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Mahvash shared that he was personally invited by Samay Raina to participate in the second season of his comedy talent show. Recalling their conversation, he said, “While we were shooting for a show, Samay asked me if I would participate in the next season of his comedy talent show. And I told him that I would definitely come to the show.” Mahvash further revealed that he never met her during her tough times. He said, “I was watching from the third show. I spoke to Ranveer (Allahbadia).”
Mahvash about friendship and support from creators
He also spoke about the support he received from his fellow creators at the launch of his debut film ‘Section 108’ starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Regina Cassandra. Recalling the experience, he shared that at that time he did not know many of them personally, however, they were introduced to the trailer. Talking about it, she said, “I didn’t know them on a personal level. For me, Ranveer, Ashish and all of them were great people. So I called them to present the trailer and they all showed up. And so, to me, that’s true friendship. Even if they are wrong, I still accept them. I agree they were wrong, but humans make mistakes. So let’s not burn them anymore. As far as I know, they are great as humans and guys. They never cross their limits and have no respect for others.”

RJ Mahvash is gearing up for the launch of his web series ‘Satrangi: Badle ka Khel’ which will release on 22nd May. Along with this project, he is also busy shooting Remo D’Souza’s romantic comedy ‘Tedhi Hain Par Meri Hain’.
