Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter India, Parvathy described “i, Nobody” as a stylish satire with a “chilling” and “brilliant” title. He also noted that many of his films have English titles.The film reunites Parvathy and Prithviraj Sukumaran after their 2018 film ‘Koode’. ‘i, Nobody’ is directed by Nisam Basheer, who is known for ‘Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha’ and ‘Rorschach’. The film is produced by Supriya Menon, CV Sarathi and Mukesh R Mehta.Parvathy said that Nisam has a different approach to cinema and pays close attention to the visual rhythm of a scene. “Nisam Basheer is very ingrained in the style of filmmaking, camera angle, movement, editing, music… Sometimes he plays background music while rehearsing on set,” he said.

The actor said he watched the monitor and reviewed all his shots for ‘i, Nobody’, something he had not done earlier in his career. He explained that Nisam was not just focused on performance in the conventional sense.“Nisam is not worried about the caliber of our actors. He told us, ‘You guys have got it’. Instead, he wanted a specific movement for my character. So it felt like a choreographed movement,” said Parvathy.She also explains why she avoids seeing herself after he takes her. “Because I feel like, if I see my face, I’m going to subconsciously start shaping myself in a way that makes me look good,” she said.Parvathy added that watching the monitor can make her feel insecure about how she appears on the screen. He avoids it, so his performance remains “as raw as possible” in the final cut.In “I, Noork”, he made an exception, “because the change that I was going to move and sit down would be formed.” He said, “So I became more of a student of that style of filmmaking. After every shot, me and the kid actors in the film would gather and watch. So I feel like it was exposure therapy for me.”The release details of the film are yet to be announced.
