The pass percentage of girls is higher than that of boys.
As in previous years, girls have outperformed boys in Kerala’s SSLC exams. According to the result data released by the board, girls scored 99.22 percent, while boys scored 98.93 percent. The data once again highlighted the strong academic performance of female students in the state board examinations.There was also a difference in the top scorers. A total of 30,514 students secured A+ grades in all subjects this year. Of these, 20,771 were girls while 9,743 were boys.The numbers show that girls not only secured a better overall pass percentage but also dominated the list of top scorers in the exam.
Strong performance in districts
Among the districts, Pathanamthita emerged as the highest performing revenue district with a pass percentage of 99.72%. Cuttnad was declared the best educational district after registering 100% eligibility for higher education. Kollam district also stood out, with 11.6% students securing A+ in all subjects, the highest share in the state.Meanwhile, students from schools in the Gulf region recorded 100 percent results this year. The pass percentage in Lakshadweep was 97.67%.
