He was part of the setup during all five IPL title-winning campaigns and also featured in the team’s two Champions League Twenty20 victories. Key role beyond IPLAlthough his direct role with MI’s IPL unit ends in 2022, Robin remains involved in the Mumbai Indians’ extensive network. He served as the general manager of MI Emirates during the inaugural International League T20 season in 2023 and was later promoted as the head of the franchise in 2024.His exit marks the end of an important coaching era for the franchise, where he worked with several title-winning squads.Prior to his coaching career, Robin represented India in 136 ODIs, scoring 2,336 runs and taking 69 wickets. He later became one of the most sought-after coaches in T20 leagues around the world.
