Fans of the ‘Golmaal’ franchise got excited recently when the makers announced the film and revealed that this time Akshay Kumar is a bonus to the existing team. Now, according to a latest report, the ‘Sooryavanshi’ actress is reportedly charging a whopping fee for appearing in the fifth installment of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal’. According to reports, the actor is being paid around 35-40 crores for the 18 to 22 day shooting schedule, which figure is higher than Ajay Devgn’s remuneration for the film.A close source told IANS, “Akshay Kumar is shooting in 18-22 days, and is getting around 35-40 crs, which is more than Ajay Devgn’s upfront fees because he is in a position to share the profits.”Filmmaker Rohit Shetty officially announced ‘Golmaal 5’ as he celebrated his 52nd birthday in March. At the same time, reports surfaced that Akshay would join the franchise as a ‘surprise package’.
