The search for the next James Bond has officially begun.With different news casting different actors as the frontrunners to play Bond, Amazon MGM Studios has officially begun auditioning actors for the iconic 007 role in recent weeks, reports Variety magazine.The film will usher in a new era for the long-running spy franchise after Daniel Craig stepped down from the role in 2021’s ‘No Time to Die’.The studio has reportedly hired an Oscar-nominated casting director Nina Gold To help find the next actor to play the British spy.“The search for the next James Bond is underway,” Amazon MGM Studios said in a statement to Variety. “While we do not intend to comment on specific details during the casting process, we are excited to share more news with 007 fans as soon as the time comes.”Even before auditions have officially begun, social media timelines have been dominated by speculation about the next Bond. Actors Jacob Elordi, Callum Turner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and many others have been rumored to be in the running for the coveted role.Although Urre has not publicly commented on his involvement, the report says that the production has confirmed that he has joined the project.
