Anupam Mital, who has appeared as one of the beloved judges on ‘Shark Tank India’, has shared a post in support of remote work after Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for curbing fuel consumption and curbing imports, reviving some Covid-era work practices.
Anupam Mittal proposes one day work from home
Mittal took to X to share his thoughts on the one-day-a-week work policy for his employees. He wrote, “Kabhi socha nahin, but 1 day away for 500 workers saves 30,000 liters of petrol per year. Now we are WFH.”

The estimate shared by Mittal is based on nearly 500 employees who work remotely approximately 50 days per year.
Here’s why Anupam Mittal believes working from home is a viable option
As soon as the post came out, netizens wanted to pick Anupam’s brain on the whole idea. One of the internet users said, “But productivity will decrease. There is a reason why offices are built. They are places dedicated to collaboration and professional work.’ To this, Anupam replied, “It would really work better…half a week off from commuting.”Meanwhile, another user asked the ‘Shark Tank India’ judge. “What do you think about the hybrid office culture? Do you think it reduces productivity? or is it just an excuse for some big IT giants? If you look at the traffic situation in India, it takes an average hour and a half for employees to reach the office. What is your take on this or do you think this office culture will last in the next 5-10 years?”In response, Anupam wrote: “”I think it depends on the company and the context, but if there was ever a time in history to consider hybrid, it’s now. Eventually, I think most of them willIt will operate 2 days a week in remote peacetime and possibly WFO crises or transformations.”While the internet may seem divided, Anupam seems to have a mind of his own.
