According to the report, Diljit got US citizenship in 2022, traveled to India on E-Visa
According to a report by The Indian Express, Diljit acquired American citizenship in 2022 and has been traveling on a US passport since September of that year. Whenever he visits India, he does so with an e-visa. The report says that his last Indian passport was issued in Mumbai in 2018, and before that, one was issued in Zambia. His wife, Sandeep Kaur, is also a US citizen, and at the time of acquiring American citizenship, Diljit set up a five-bedroom bungalow as his home address in California. The singer-actress has yet to publicly respond or address the report.
