The WFI’s notice to Vinesh has raised disciplinary and doping concerns, including alleged violations related to retirement and withdrawal from competition regulations under the UWW rules. The federation has banned him from participating in WFI events and competitions until June 26, 2026. Lalovich is understood to believe that the WFI may legally question Vinesh on issues deemed important before allowing him to return to competitive wrestling.Vinesh later shared a confidential email from the International Testing Agency (ITA), which said he was eligible to return to the competition from 1 January 2026.
