Sinqua Walls ‘Man of Tomorrow’ has joined, James Gunnthe follow-up to last year’s ‘Superman’. DC Studios is currently shooting the film in Atlanta David Corenswet Returning as Superman Nicholas Hoult back as Lex Luthor. Walls’ role has not been disclosed, and the studio did not comment on its casting. The sequel will be released on July 9, 2027.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Walls is the latest actor to be cast in ‘Man of Tomorrow’. Details about his character are being kept under wraps. DC Studios had no comment on the casting.Walls is known for his work in film and television. He appeared in the 2000s TV series ‘Friday Night Lights’ and recently starred in the Peacock limited series ‘Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist’. The series also starred Kevin Hart, Samuel L. Jackson, Taraji P. Henson and Don Cheadle.On the film side, Walls directed Hulu’s remake of ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ opposite Jack Harlow. He also appeared in Netflix’s ‘Carry-On’ as the best friend of Taron Egerton’s TSA agent. His recent credits include the horror-comedy ‘The Blackening’ and the 2022 drama ‘Mending the Line’, where he played a veteran opposite Brian Cox.

‘Man of Tomorrow’ brings back several key names from Gunn’s new DC universe. Corenswet returns as Superman, and Hoult reprises his role as Lex Luthor. In the film, the two enemies will team up against Brainiac, played by Lars Eidinger.Adria Arjona is also joining the franchise. ‘Lanterns’ star Aaron Pierre is also on the call sheet. Returning cast includes Rachel Brosnahan Lois Lane, Skyler Gisondo Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio Eve Teschmacher, Isabela Merced Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion Guy Gardner and Edi Gathegi Mister Terrific.The sequel follows DC’s 2026 releases ‘Supergirl’ and ‘Clayface’.
