The Punjab Kings skipper scored an unbeaten 36-ball 59 in Dharamsala, registering his third consecutive 50-plus score against DC. In doing so, Shreyas equaled the rare IPL record of most consecutive 50+ scores against Delhi.

Shreyas once again looked in complete control against his former franchise, anchoring the Punjab Kings after an explosive start from Priyansh Arya, who scored 56 off just 33 balls with the help of six sixes. While Delhi Capitals fought back by bowling disciplined middle overs after conceding 51 runs in the first three overs, Shreyas ensured that PBKS never lost momentum completely. Along with Cooper Connolly, they put on a crucial 83-run partnership for the third wicket to stabilize the innings. The PBKS skipper stepped up smartly in the death overs as well, calmly rotating the strike before punishing a loose delivery. His unbeaten innings once again highlighted his ability to absorb pressure while maintaining a healthy strike rate at crucial stages of the innings. The knock also highlighted Shreyas’ impressive record against DC in recent seasons.
