IIT Advanced Admit Card 2026: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will release the admit card for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) on 11 May 2026 tomorrow. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam will be able to download their hall tickets from the official JEE Advanced portal starting from 10:00 IST. The Admit Card link will be active on 17th May 2026 till 2:30 PM. IIT Roorkee, the organizing body for this year’s examination cycle, will conduct JEE Advanced 2026 on May 17 in two compulsory papers. Paper 1 will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM. Paper 2 will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Candidates should appear for both papers. Absence from any paper may lead to disqualification from the grading process.The admit card will contain important details including the address of the examination center, reporting time, credentials of the candidate, and instructions on the day of the examination. Students are advised to verify all the details carefully immediately after downloading the document.
Admit card is mandatory for admission.
Hall ticket will be a mandatory document for admission to the examination centre. Candidates have to carry a valid photo ID proof along with the printed admit card.Officials have warned candidates not to wait till the last minute to download the document, as heavy traffic on the website near the exam date may lead to technical delays.
Special arrangements for PwD candidates
IIT Roorkee has also announced assistance measures for disabled candidates and those with less than 40% disability who face difficulties in writing.Such candidates will be allowed to choose the writer on 16 May 2026, one day before the examination.
IIT Roorkee Admit Card 2026: Official Schedule
After the exam is over, the post-exam process will start quickly.As per official schedule:
- Candidates answer sheets will be released on 21st May 2026 from 17:00 IST.
- The provisional answer keys will be published on 25 May 2026 at 10:00 IST.
- The objection window will remain open till 26 May 2026, 17:00 IST.
Candidates will be allowed to submit feedback and challenge provisional answer keys within the specified period.The final answer key and result of JEE Advanced 2026 will be declared on 01 June 2026 at 10:00 IST.
AAT 2026 Registration To begin in June
Students seeking admission to architecture programs in IITs through the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026 will be able to register from 01 June 2026.The registration process will continue till 02 June 2026, 17:00 IST. AAT 2026 exam is scheduled on 04 June 2026 between 09:00 IST and 12:00 IST. The results will be declared on 07 June 2026 at 17:00 IST.
The JoSAA counseling process is expected from June 2.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2026 counseling process is tentatively expected to start on 02 June 2026 at 17:00 IST.The counseling process will determine the admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs and other participating technical institutes on the basis of JEE Advanced and JEE Main rank of candidates.
