Kiara Advani says failures were her biggest teachers

Speaking about her journey, Kiara shared that every setback came with a lesson. “I truly feel that there is something that I have learned from each experience and that has shaped me to where I am today. Bass have been my greatest teachers. Till now, people think that MS Dhoni: The Untold Story or Kabir Singh It was my first film, which was a commercial success. Fugly was my first film, a lot of people didn’t see it, a lot of people can Google it now,” he said. The actor further revealed that after the film failed commercially, his job opportunities became limited. “After the film, there was a big lull because the film didn’t open well. However, critically, several critics praised my performance. But nothing came back to work. So it was the same waiting game as going to auditions, some make it, some don’t,” he shared.Kiara admitted that actors who don’t find commercial success early in their careers often face a tougher road. “When you’re just starting out and you’re not delivering commercially, the opportunities that come your way are much smaller. The process is longer. So far, I think that’s been the best thing that’s happened to me,” he added.

That’s the age where you’re so eager to give your best,” he said. Kiara also recalled that she participated in the film Machine directed by the filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan. I’m very grateful for that wonderful experience on the sets, which helped me learn a lot. I did a song in that film, ‘Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast’, and then Manish Malhotra noticed me. He didn’t know me at all, and he went and told Karan Johar because he thought, ‘Ism la haiki’. Then I was offered Lust Stories,” he recalled. On the work front, Kiara recently returned to work after welcoming her first child with her husband Siddharth Malhotra.
