Kriti Sanon fighting for a place in Bollywood
Speaking to GQ, Kriti reflected on the early days of her career, admitting that the journey to where she is today was an easy one. Although he is recognized today for his powerful screen presence and a number of hit films, getting there required patience during some very frustrating times. Elaborating on how it felt to navigate the industry without film roots, Kritik shared, “Before Mimi, I went through phases of frustration… I wanted to do more, knowing I was capable of more, but lacked the opportunity. The roles I approached so much that eventually went to child stars was something that was out of my control. If you don’t come from a film background, there’s a lot of uncertainty you have to deal with. It has been a process of gradual growth, with me taking risks and deliberately making more choices. I won all the opportunities; nothing was given to me.”
