While attending the 2026 India Today Conclave, Kumar spoke about his bond with his wife, Twinkle Khanna. The star was asked about what they often talk about every day, and the actor revealed that their conversations revolve around everyday life.
Admitting that he stopped discussing politics at the dinner table, the veteran actor added, “Today’s negative toh aur positive dono chahiye, tabhi toh batti jaleg’ (it takes negative and positive current to light a bulb). But we stopped discussing politics about six years ago. We have a lot to talk about in life,” he said. He pointed out that it is more important for the couple to talk about their lives when they are at the dinner table, and from that they have created a habit. In another instance at the event, the star also revealed that he has no problem with the paparazzi clicking his pictures with his wife and children. With photographers sharing that they can get Rs 3500 to Rs 4000 for a picture they click, why should they have a problem with it? He further added, “It’s not a risk. If they don’t take pictures, it’s a problem. As an actor, if someone doesn’t recognize you, then it’s a problem.“

Currently, on the work front, Akshay Kumar is awaiting the release of his latest horror comedy film, ‘Bhooth Bangla’. The premise of the film revolves around a mysterious house that is said to be haunted. This marks the collaboration of Kumar and director Priyadarshan after 14 years. Kumar is joined by Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jisshu Sengupta, Resad Ajim, Manoj Joshi, Mithila Palkar and many more for the much-awaited film. ‘Bhoot Bangla’ will officially hit the theaters on April 10.
