Sadia Khateeb will not make a film that objectifies her
since his debut in Vidhu Vinod ChopraIn ‘Shikara’ 2020, Sadia Khateeb has been guided by a single and constant rule. In an interview with Variety India, he stated, “My non-negotiables from day one have been one thing. That I don’t want to be in a movie where I’m being objectified.”He is also clear about his intentions; fame, success and financial reward are all the things he wants; however, only on his own terms. She said, “I don’t want to be in a place where I don’t feel respected or I feel like I’m being objectified. Those are two non-negotiables. From day one.”The actor said his choices have always been driven by conviction rather than choice. “I am very clear. I will make films that have some kind of meaning and some kind of connection. I would never make a film that I don’t like. It has to give me something,” he explained.
Sadia Khateeb says she won’t sell her soul for 100 crores
In the same interview, Sadia was also asked what she would do if offered 100 million. Undeterred by box office pressure, Sadia Khateeb offered a grounded view of what success really means.The actor said, “There is no one I have to prove anything to, except me. What if I get Rs 100 crore right now? I will eat the same food. I’ll still be with the same people. Yes, I desperately want 100 million, but it won’t change the way I live my life.”And he added: “I will not sell my soul for that 100 million. I will work hard. I will do my best to get those millions. I will give my all in the effort. But I will not do anything that I am comfortable with, that I do not accept, that does not resonate with me.”For Khateeb, the limits he has set are not restrictions; they are a reflection of who he is. He said, “We all have our own set of morals, which we sometimes call boundaries.”
