The Maharashtra SSC Board Result 2026 has been declared, which once again shows that girls have outperformed boys in the Class 10 examination. The overall pass percentage this year was 76.33%.The pass rate for girls reached 94.96 percent while for boys it was 89.56 percent. The gap between the two groups stood at 5.40 percentage points, making the gender gap wider than in previous years.Over the past few years, girls have consistently scored higher than boys in the SSC exam. In 2025, the pass ratio for girls stood at 96.14 per cent compared to 92.31 per cent for boys. This year the difference was 3.83 percent.In 2024, the overall result was 95.81 percent higher. Girls scored 97.21% while boys scored 94.56%, leaving a difference of 2.65%. A similar pattern was observed in 2023, when girls recorded 95.87 percent and boys 92.05 percent.The lowest difference in recent years was reported in 2022. This year, girls scored 97.96% while boys scored 96.06% with a difference of 1.90%.
