West Bengal 10th Result 2026: If official website crashes, check result on TOI portal

The WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2026 will be declared by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education on 8 May 2026, with around 9.71 lakh students across the state waiting for their Class 10 scorecards. The board conducted the exam from February 2 to February 12, 2026 at more than 2,600 centers in West Bengal. Once the result link is activated, students will be able to check their marks through official websites as well as the Times of India (TOI) result portal. In case of heavy traffic on government portals or website crashes, the TOI platform will serve as an alternate access point for students. Apart from this, DigiLocker and SMS services will also be available for students facing technical delays on the day of results.

How to Check WBBSE Medium Result 2026 on TOI Portal

Students can easily access their results through TOI Education Result Page by following these steps. Step 1: Visit TOI Education WB Madhyamik Result 2026 pages Step 2: Enter your roll number in the required field. Step 3: Enter your date of birth in DDMMYY format. Step 4: Click the Submit button. After submission, the mark sheet will appear on the screen, which students can download and save for future admission and reference till the schools release the original certificate. Students are advised to verify all the details carefully after downloading the result.Candidates must secure at least 34% aggregate marks (272 out of 800) and minimum passing marks in each subject to crack the Madhyamik exam. Students who do not clear certain subjects may be eligible for compartmental examinations conducted by the board later. In 2025, the overall pass percentage stood at 86.56%, while in 2024 it was 83.61%, showing a stable trend in recent years. The board announced the 2025 results on May 2, and schools are expected to distribute the original certificates soon after the 2026 results are announced.
