‘Kara’ collections from India and around the world
According to Sacnilk, ‘Kara’ has collected 30.26 crores in net collections in India so far. The gross collection in India is currently 34.89 crores.The film has managed to release moderate numbers in foreign markets as well. Internationally, the film has earned 10.15 crores so far. With the latest figures in, the worldwide gross collection has reached 45.04 crores in eight days of its release.
Daily collections continue to decline
‘Kara’ registered 1.80 crores on Day 5, first Monday. Occupancy was 16.3 percent for 3,226 shows. On the first Tuesday, Day 6, the film showed a slight improvement and earned 2 crores. Occupancy also increased roughly to 17% from 3,322 shows.However, the collections dipped again on the 7th day. On its first Wednesday, Kara made Rs 1.58 crore, while maintaining an occupancy of 16.3 percent in 3,351 shows.The downtrend continued further on day 8, the second Thursday. The film collected 1.53 million euros with an occupancy rate of 15.7 percent in almost 3,300 screenings.With these numbers, the film completed its first week in India with a total net collection of 30.26 crores.
