The actor originally bought the site for $24.5 million in 2017, according to another report in The Wall Street Journal. It is located directly in the enclave of Los Feliz in Los Angeles, on two acres of land and at the highest points of Laughlin Park.The mansion has centuries-old trees scattered throughout the grounds, and offers beautiful views of the surrounding areas, including the Hollywood Hills and the Griffith Observatory. Spread over 11,000 square meters, the property has six bedrooms and 10 full bathrooms. The space also has separate privatized areas, showing that it has ample space for everyone and everything. The property includes a private fitness studio, a guest cottage, a tea house, as well as a swimming pool and private pool.
Who owned the Loz Feliz mansion before Angelina Jolie?
The property has a very rich history, as Jolie is not the first Hollywood celebrity to own a mansion in LA. The legacy of this home comes from filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, known for ‘The Greatest Show On Earth’, ‘The Ten Commandments’ and ‘Sunset Boulevard’. He bought the property in 1916, and his family managed it until 1980.What makes it even more special is that a few years after he bought the residence, he also bought and invested in the space next door, the Dodd Residence.
