Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date of July 2026 re-registration. Registration is intended for students enrolled in online distance learning (ODL) and online programs. The extension applies to all ODL and online programs, except certificate and semester-based courses, the university said. Students can check the complete list of programs available on the official website and apply accordingly.The university has clarified that no physical study material will be provided for online programs.Eligible students can also apply for government scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal after confirming their admission.
IGNOU July 2026 Re-Registration: Steps
To re-register, students can follow the steps below:
- Log in to the IGNOU portal. ignou.samarth.edu.in
- Fill in the details.
- Select courses, upload documents if required.
- Pay the fee.
After submission, students should download the confirmation page and receipt for future reference. The last date for re-registration is June 30. Candidates who miss the last date can still apply, but will have to pay a late fee of Rs 200 along with standard charges.
