YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia was surrounded by controversy when he appeared on Samay Raina’s ‘India’s Got Latent’. He was one of the first to call and just said, ‘Take care of yourself and your mental health, and everything will take care of itself.’ And it was true, that’s what happened.”During the debate, Ranveer admitted that the controversy still affects him emotionally and that he hasn’t completely moved on from the experience. “What happened to me last year, I’m not going to say I’m good, but I’m a strong person,” he said. In response, Farah expressed sympathy for what he had suffered and criticized the culture of online outrage. “It’s a traumatic thing to almost abandon a young person. I hate the cancellation culture,” he said.Farah also mentioned that she doesn’t like moral policing, adding that Ranveer has yet to speak openly about everything that happened during that period. “There’s a lot more going on, I’ve never talked about it,” he said. “I’m still fighting with myself. Meeting you as a professional was healing,” Allahbadia continued.The podcaster also revealed that the controversy had a serious impact on his family, especially his mother. He said he was physically assaulted during the tension.“One day, publicly, I want to talk about everything that happened. It’s not the right time. But I can tell that the mother is hurt and very tense. One day he was physically attacked. I’m not making this up. This really happened, and it was traumatizing. She is also a very strong lady.”In response, Farah added: “Strong people are hurt the most when it happens to their children.”For context, Ranveer got into a huge controversy after an episode of India’s Got Latent in 2025, hosted by Samay Raina. During the show, a question Ranveer asked a contestant drew backlash from viewers who found it offensive.
