Explaining his comparison, Javed said that Bumrah’s bowling style is rare because of his unusual action and the difficulty batsmen face in settling against him. “Nowadays, in this whole World Cup, there is only one bowler like him – Bumrah. Because he is different, he is not an ordinary bowler, even his action is extraordinary. When he comes to bowling, I always say he is like Usman Tariq among fast bowlers,” he told reporters.He further explained that Bumrah’s pace and unique rhythm make him extremely difficult to face. “He bowls so quickly and in such a unique way that no batsman can ever find any flow or rhythm against him. He just doesn’t allow it,” he added.Javed also argued that bowlers with the brilliance of the greats of the past are becoming rare in modern cricket. “Besides him, tell me one other bowler in this entire World Cup – from any team – who you can look at and feel satisfied that he mirrors Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, or someone else like him. You won’t find anyone now,” he added.
