the creators of Imtiaz Ali‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ has released a new song from the film, after ‘Maskara’, teaser and previous song ‘Kya Kamaal Hai’. In the romantic number Sharvari and Vedang RainaWith music by AR Rahman and lyrics by Irshad Kamil. Nilanjana Ghosh Dastidar and Vedang have sung the song. While some Reddit users praised Vedang’s voice and the easy charm of the song, others discussed Sharvari and Vedang’s pairing, style and on-screen chemistry.
The song ‘Maskara’ from ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ has been released
Imtiaz Ali shared ‘Mask’ on Instagram and wrote, “See…?Girls have been giving us attitude for ages!! (sic).” The song puts Sharvari and Vedang’s romance at the centre, while Rahman and Kamil bring their sound back to Ali’s world of love and longing.
Vedang said the song helped him introduce his character Keenu in a new way.
“The Mask is incredibly close to my heart because it allowed me to enter the character in a whole new way, not only as an actor, but also through music. There’s a raw innocence to what Keenu feels, and singing made those emotions feel even more intimate and real to me.
