The period drama is based on the life of the Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharajand released in theaters in Marathi and Hindi. The film earned more than 33 crores in the first weekend in theaters. However, it has seen a drop in its collection in the first week.

The Marathi version of ‘Raja Shivaji’ collected 8 crores on its opening day. On day 2, the film earned 7.15 crores, while on Sunday it collected 7.75 crores at the box office. According to the Sacnilk report, on day 4 (first Monday), the collection went down. The film earned 4.25 crores in 1,735 shows. With this, the total collection of its Marathi version has reached 27.15 crores.This has taken the total gross collection (Marathi and Hindi) to 46.95 crores, and the net collection is now 39.50 crores.
