Pune: Indian entrepreneur Bharat Geeta, founder of Tour India, has been honored with the prestigious ‘Global Inspiration of the Year 2026’ award at the British Parliament. He was also awarded a special honor in the House of Commons, an important global recognition of his contribution to the aluminum industry. Popularly known as the ‘Aluminum Man of India’, Gate’s recognition on an international platform is seen as a proud moment for India’s industrial sector as well as for Maharashtra.The award ceremony was held in the Boothroyd Room of Portcullis House, part of the UK Parliament complex in London. The award was presented by the South Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the occasion of Gujarat and Maharashtra Foundation Day. Industrialist Alok Kirloskar was also felicitated at the event, adding to the significance of the occasion.They included British MP Louis French, Marathi Mandal London’s Sushil Gaikwad, Lord Raminder Ranger, Directorate of Trade, Oceans and Natural Resources, Commonwealth Secretariat Senior Director Suresh Yadav, and South Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Mahendra Singh Jadeja.Gite has carved a niche in the aluminum sector through innovation, vision, and a strong focus on quality. With ‘Atmanir Bhar Bharat’ as a guiding principle, it has established a strong industrial presence, contributing to India’s manufacturing growth.
