According to the Hindustan Times report, “Ahead of ‘Toxic’, Tara Sutaria will make her debut at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, representing India at the global stage.”Although Tara is not attending a Cannes film screening, the timing is strategic. The report added, “With ‘Toxic’ creating buzz, the Cannes debut is expected to spark the start of a global phase for Tara’s career.”

Other Indian stars at Cannes 2026

Tara Sutaria will be in good company on the French Riviera. Indian co-stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Alia Bhatt are expected to attend this year as well. It is noteworthy that filmmaker Payal Kapadia will serve as the head of the jury at the 65th edition of the Cannes Critics’ Week from May 13 to 21.
