Anita Advani rekindled her deep personal relationship with the late superstar Rajesh Khannasaying he has “no regrets” and would “do it again” if given the chance. In a recent interaction, she talked about their time together, their personalities and the emotional bond they shared.Calling it one of the most meaningful chapters in her life, Anita told Vickey Lalwan, “No, it was not a mistake. I would do it all over again. I have no regrets. I loved the man. Whatever time we had, short or long, I was happy with him.”He added that happiness for him was never about material things. “It’s not about money, it’s about the person you wake up with. You can have everything, but if you don’t have the person you want next to you, that’s not happiness.”

“I still feel like he’s with me”

Despite the passage of time, Anita revealed that she still holds on to the memories of the superstar. “I have voice recordings. I still listen to them, especially on Karva Chauth. I still feel that he is with me,” he shared, adding that he observes Karva Chauth every year.The couple would also mark special moments in their own way. “We didn’t do anything big, but we had a little candlelight dinner at home,” he said.

‘It was funny, but wonderful’

Opening up about her personality, Anita described Khanna as vivacious and lovable. “He could be humorous. If his mood was good, everything was fine. Otherwise, even small things would turn into arguments,” he admitted, adding that their relationship saw frequent disagreements.“Once or twice a week, we’d fight, about food, clothes, whatever. Usually, his mood would change in the evening … after drinks,” she said.He also talked about his routine, revealing: “He would start drinking around 8:30 or 9:30 p.m. But it wasn’t just drinking, we talked, we watched TV.”

His likes, dislikes and quirks

Anita painted a vivid picture of Khanna’s personal preferences, from her love of the color orange to her strong opinions on style.“He loved orange. Everywhere – desks, mattresses, pillows – all orange. He even wanted to paint the bungalow in a light orange tone,” he recalled.His dress was also unique. “He liked me in churidas and skirts, not jeans. He also wanted my hair tied up. If I came with my hair open, he’d say, ‘Tie my hair first, then talk to me,'” she shared.The actress also enjoyed easy outings. “We went for ice cream almost every day. He only liked chocolate, nothing else,” she said.

He would live the relationship

Summing up her feelings, Anita reiterated that despite the ups and downs, she continues to cherish the relationship deeply.“I am a very loyal person. I was happy when I was with him. I would do it again,” she said, stressing that for her the emotional connection was more important than anything else.
